TRAVEL GUIDE PAMPHLET

This assignment has the hardest task as we need to draw a travel guide pamphlet of our hometown/city that requires around 8-12 pages and is manually drawn by hand, we also have to choose a place of interest to bring our friends to our hometown/city. To draw this pamphlet we need to do research about the history, the tangible and intangible components of the place and even add on a future development that will be suitable for the place we've chosen

Project OUTCOME

The city I have chosen is Shah Alam as it is the place that I grew up, during my high school days I will always go to this shop called Cake Jalan Tiung in Section 9 and it was only the nearest dessert shop in that area, it is quite famous for teenagers and young adult to visit that place during their break or to do some work. The place has a calming vibe, a sweet coffee aroma, and the best dessert especially their cookies nyum ♡\( ̄▽ ̄)/♡

PROGRESS

  • This place is the most familiar place for me as I've been schooling around that area for 11 years

  • The area is unique because it has its food truck area and a park to eat and relax

  • Cake Jalan Tiung is my favorite shop at Section 9 while Dim Sum shop came in second

  • I chose this place as it was my favorite pastries and dessert shop after school or during a long break

  • Really love their cookies, it's so yummy and I wanted to share them with my friends (๑´• .̫ •ू`๑)

  • I have planned out every title for each page to make it easier for me as the picture shown

  • Every little detail that I can find is on the pamphlet such as the history, map, landmark, population, accessibility, zoning, activities, circulation, and more

  • Finally for the final is future development I decided to add more parking space as that place will always be full after school is finished and its usually pack  from time to time
